Prof. Rafik Beekun brings high level of academic rigor and faculty to ICCL's continuous authentic research and development.
He is Professor of Management and Strategy and former chair of the Managerial Sciences Department at the University of Nevada, USA.
He obtained his M.B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas, and his B.A. and M.A. from Columbia University, New York. He has taught at Temple University, University of Texas and University of Nevada in strategic management, international management and organizational theory, teaching in both the graduate and undergraduate programs. In 1999-2000, he served as a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Mauritius.
He has published in many journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Decision Sciences, Human Relations, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Applied Behavioral Sciences, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, International Journal of Human Resource Management and Journal of Business Ethics. Prof Beekun has particular subject matter expertise in business ethics, corporate governance, corporate strategy, international management, and the link between spirituality and management.
